It’s become pretty clear that nobody is really motivated to participate in this community. And without the help of search engines it isn’t attracting any new members.
Thanks very much to the few who did choose to support it.
The forum will be deleted next weekend. I’m not planning on rebuilding it elsewhere with better hosting. Instead I’ll be focusing my efforts on constructing a website for my Rage Protocol project.
I won’t be continuing the original Gearslutz thread either. I’ve devoted way too much energy to it for nothing. The failure of this forum proves that I’ve been wasting my time and effort trying to promote Industrial music. And it proves how completely thankless the Internet can be towards free resources of any kind regardless the work you devote to them.
I still search up new music in my spare time so those truly interested in that can watch my favorites on SoundCloud.
